1.
Vivorum 06:38
How dare thee March upon this land Putting its peace into peril Disturbing our kind Your men are weak, the living of this forest will be your last sight Cursed be all May you suffer Thousands have set foot here Only to have been sent to the gods Your steel is no match to the spirit Found in the air Your blood shall be spilled and forgotten The darkness creeps into your soul A thousand lifetimes are witnessed The screams are heard only by your kin All meaning is lost This is desolation Frozen by the wind Deafened by the silence Buried by the soil You are condemned to die
2.
Torvet 05:58
As nightfall came to reap All lost souls outside The coldness in their eyes Witnessed the end of time As trees dance in the wind A daunting sound is heard The trembling of the horns Brings upon the end of time Despite their burning hearts They soon came to understand Revenge shall not be served The end of time is here This is domination
3.
All the dead voice their misery The end is near Sacrifice seems to be the key For the gods to keep them alive Keep them living Trap them all Keep them living Trap them all Keep them living Trap them The sentinels of the realm Prey on all that lives to move Nothing gets far past their watch The hopeless are met with fear The rustling of the leaves Marks the change of winds After all the pain and the blood Has passed with time, the living of the forest Act as if nothing had been Only an endless lure for lost souls All the lost souls of time Are banished to the darkest pits No light will ever shine their way Only darkness Mighty winds have come to torment The haunted and the weak A blinding light covers the skies as Nightfall seizes the day A new age is born Of prosperity and rule The gods look down upon the living And see that the mighty war is won Forever
4.
I look up And see Many worlds above Shining back at me Surely I mistrust This passage through time For all taken to heart Is bound in disillusion The answers lie within Quests of old Which have stood up Against the mind I am ready I am ready Wake me With all My woes And dues Hastily In the Purest Darkest Depths of time Wake me Wake me Wake me Wake me

about

Canadian-Finnish solo band Aarimest's debut EP, Vivorum, is a captivating and unique release which features acoustic and melodic elements. The album draws inspiration from nature and medieval themes, describing the tale of Vivorum (Latin for “The Living”) and an invading force coming to raid their land; a part of the album’s greater concept story.
